It is as simple as putting a food item in a zip lock bag. Volunteers are needed for the assembly of Pantry Packs -Thursday, September 8, 2022 &nbsp;6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Roy Recreation Complex 2150 W 4700 S in Roy. &nbsp;Pantry packs are prepackaged meals with specific items that are discreetly given to school children who may be going without proper nutrition on the weekends. The packs contain six meals and four snacks. &nbsp;Once assembled, the packs are given to Catholic Community Services for distribution to our local schools. The food and bags will be provided at the Assembly location.&nbsp; If you wish to donate food for the packs there are food boxes in&nbsp; Roy Recreation Complex - 2150 W 4700 S Roy Roy City Municipal Building 5051 S 1900 W Roy Clinton City Recreation Office 1651 W 2300 N, Clinton&nbsp; West Point City Hall 3200 West 300 North, West Point. *Any of the following individual items can be donated. &nbsp;Donations do not need to be complete packs.&nbsp; Items in each Pack include:Gallon size zip lock bag 1Instant serving meal 15 oz can (ie: SpaghettiO's, ravioli, chicken &amp; rice - not Mac &amp; Cheese) 1Tuna Fish - 5 oz can 1Mac &amp; Cheese - 7.25 oz box 1Oatmeal packets, instant 2Ramen Noodles - 3 oz bag 1Granola bar 1Fruit snacks - pouch 1Applesauce, fruit cup or fruit squeeze 1Peanut Butter or Cheese Crackers 1 *It is important to stay with the list provided. This ensures all of the pantry packs coming from different groups are consistent, and all of the children receive the same items.
