<span>There are five "baskets" in the welcome basket kit each family receives when they first come to the United States. &nbsp;These items help get a family started in their new home and new life when resources are tightest. Volunteer groups</span>&nbsp;will be gathering materials for the welcome baskets throughout the year.&nbsp; The list of baskets and items is below.&nbsp; Each group of items can be placed in a laundry basket, cleaning bucket, or ten gallon kitchen trash can and wrapped with packing material so it stays together.
